Een speciale dag - special day

Deze keer heb ik mij uitgeleefd op verschillende fronten. Ik koos voor stempels van Studio light die ik van mijn vriendin Matty heb geleend, enkele tips die ik ooit op youtube filmpjes van AZZA heb gezien en dan de sponstechniek van Elke Verschooten. En dit alles met memento inkt in roze en rode kleur. Ik wil jullie vandaag laten meegenieten van de eerste kaart die ik hiermee maakte. De tekststempel komt bij Elke vandaan. This time I played with different techniques. I chose stamps from Studio light which I borrowed from my friend Matty, some techniques I saw on youtube movies from AZZA and the sponging technique from Elke Verschooten. I chose the memento pink and red colours to work with. Today I let you enjoy the first card I made with this. The text stamp is from Elke. Hope you like it.

Schort - Apron

Marianne Design heeft prachtige mallen uitgebracht en in deze tijd waar alles rond cupcakes draait is een schort om te bakken met de benodigdheden natuurlijk ideaal om een kaart te maken voor iemand die van bakken houdt. Het lintje vond ik ook nog in mijn lintendoos dus de kaart was snel samengesteld. Eenvoudig, daar hou ik nu eenmaal van. Marianne Design made some beautiful dies and of course now everybody likes to bake cupcakes so one cannot be without an apron. So I thought this would be an ideal card for somebody who loves to bake such cupcakes. The ribbon was still in my box so I could use it too.

Flight of Fancy - Hummingbird

Deze keer heb ik een malletje gebruikt van Die-versions namelijk Flight of Fancy en een nieuw kaartmodelletje uitgeprobeerd. De tekst is van Stampin Up Bloomin' Marvelous set. De basis is dubbelzijdig kraft cardstock. Today I tried something different, a different kind of card model with a die from Die-versions which is called Flight of Fancy and has of course my favorite bird in it. The text is from Stampin Up Bloomin' Marvelous set and the base is double sieded Kraft card stock. Hope you like it.

Flip kaart - Flip card (model from Stampin up)

Bij de Stampin Up inspiratie blog zag ik een prachtig modelletje voor een kaart. Het was even puzzelen welke stempels ik hiervoor wou gebruiken. Uiteindelijk koos ik voor een Marianne Design set met nostalgische kinderen en dames en accenten. Ik heb het op aquarelpapier uitgewerkt met vintage photo distress inkt en dit dan op dubbelzijdig Kraftpapier verwerkt. Ik ben best tevreden over het resultaat, het doet echt oud aan en brengt echt een zweem van nostalgie. On a Stampin Up inspiration blog I saw this very special model for a card. I had to think a bit which stamps I wanted to used but finally I chose the nostalgic Stamps of Marianne Design with children and ladies. I put them on aquarelpaper with vintage photo distress ink and later on put everything on double sided Kraft paper. I love this kind of nostalgic cards, hope you too.

Baby slabbetje - baby bib

Opruimen is af en toe best handig, dan kom je al eens iets tegen wat je ooit borduurde doch nog niet op een kaart plaatste. Zo ook dit lieve babyslabbetje.

 

Cleaning up is quite practical sometimes as I found a little baby bib I stitched awhile ago. I just needed to put it on a card.

Bloemenvaas - flower vase

Een mooi stempelset gekocht bij Creapaleis van Docrafts. Dus afgelopen weekend met Docrafts Artist stiften dit ingekleurd. Verder nog een bijpassend stukje touw en zie hier het frisse resultaat. A while ago I bought this nice stampset of Docrafts at Creapaleis. So this weekend I played with the Docrafts artist markers I bought at a crafts fair and coloured this vase with it. I used a little piece of cotton that matches to finish the card. Curious what you think of it.

Nostalgie - nostalgic

De stempels van Marianne Design zijn echt nostalgisch, en hier hou ik echt wel van. Dus ik heb niet lang geaarzeld, mijn distress inkt photo vintage en een waterkwastje en zie hier het resultaat. De eenvoud spreekt weer voor zich.

 

 

Marianne Design has some nostalgic stamps now and I love them. So I did not hesitate too long, took my vintage distress ink and some water and see the result here above. I just kept it simple as always.
