Kaartje om je dag te kleuren - Card to colour your day

Vandaag even de tijd genomen om een stempeltje dat ik via Matty van Creapaleis als opdracht als design teamlid had gekregen. Even nadenken, want het was niet extreem groot, heel leuk qua opbouw, maar wat zou ik ermee maken. Ik dacht terug aan mijn mini easelkaartjes die ik een tijdje terug voor Stampin'Up! maakte en ging vol overgave aan de slag. Eerst het stempeltje inkleuren met Faber Castell potloden en dan de easel opbouwen, ja wel weer met cardstock van SU, kon het niet laten. De tekst komt bij Elke vandaan. Benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden. Mijn man nam nog een paar impressiefoto's toen ik bezig was.

Today I decided to make a relaxing day so I took my faber castell pencils and coloured a stamp I got through Matty from Creapaleis where I am a Design team member. First I did not know what to do with it, but then I just started and made a little mini round easel card out of it in two colours. Hope you like it. My husband took some pictures from me in process of the colouring.

Magnolia golfing

Opruimen is af en toe heel interessant, dan kom je weer dingen tegen die je al begonnen bent. Zo vond ik deze ingekleurde magnolia. Ik heb haar op een kaart gekleefd met eenvoudig nog een strikje erbij. Dit past dan zelfs nog voor een man die van golfen houdt. De magnolia is ingekleurd met mijn Faber Castell potloden.

 



Cleaning up is sometimes necessary. And as I was doing this I found this cute Magnolia stamp I already coloured with my Faber Castell pencils so I decided to finish the card. I put her on a card with a ribbon so I can use it even for a man who loves golfing.

Nog een muisje - another mouse

Ik kan het niet laten, dit muisje is gewoonweg te lief om te laten liggen. Dus ik kleurde er nog eentje in, even verlegen als de andere, doch in iets andere kleuren. En deze keer gewerkt met oa een stukje papier met een patroontje erop, van de nieuwste pakketten van de Action. Wie kan dat papier nu weerstaan?

 

Another mouse, I could not resist in colouring another one with my pencils. This time in other colours and with a piece of paper with a bit of pattern in it.

LIM - Scallops - Little Mouse

Ik verlang naar de lente, net zoals de meesten van ons. Dus ik heb vandaag mijn Faber Castell potloden tevoorschijn gehaald en ging aan de slag met vrolijk geel en oranje. Zie hier het resultaat van die lieve muisje dat zo verlegen kijkt. Ik heb opnieuw een subtiel golfrandje gebruikt, op die manier is het weer een Less is More kaartje. Deze keer geen tekst, op die  manier kan ik het later gebruiken voor elke gelegenheid en niet alleen voor een verjaardag.

 

Everybody is longing for Spring to come. So today I took my Faber Castell pencils and started colouring this little shy mouse in bright yellow and orange. Just to get the spring feeling. I used again a subtle scallop border so it is again a Less is More card. I did not use a text, as in that way I can use it for whatever occassion I need a quick card.

Olifanten - Elephants

Dit leuke stempeltje kocht ik bij Elke. Ik vind het zo schattig. Ik heb het stempeltje ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden. Natuurlijk heb ik weer eens op Kraft papier gewerkt en daarbij dan een leuk lintje en strikje gebruikt. Ideaal kaartje voor een geboorte van een meisje. Wat vinden jullie?

 

This cute stamp I bought at Elke. I like it very much and it is ideal for a birth card of a baby girl. I used Kraft paper and my Faber Castell pencils. I added a piece of ribbon and a bow to complete it.

Breien - Knitting

Het DT Team van Creapaleis kreeg deze keer de uitdaging om aan de slag te gaan met het breisnoesje. Een mooie gelegenheid om weer eens mijn Faber Castell potloden boven te halen. Dit natuurlijk op Kraft papier wat ik het fijnste vind werken. Ik koos eens voor paarse tinten, niet echt mijn kleuren maar ik wou eens iets anders dan anders. Dus leuk getint papier erbij, een strikje en een bedeltje met een bolletje wol maakte het geheel af. Benieuwd of jullie dit ook mooi vinden?

 

The DT Team of Creapaleis got the challenge to work with the knitting Snoesje stamp. I used my Faber Castell pencils on Kraft paper. This time colours I do not use that often, purple/pink. Some patterned paper, a ribbon and a little charm complete the card. Curious what you think about this card.

Pinguins

Deze keer nog eentje met de lieve pinguins, deze keer op Kraft papier en ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden en dat alles uitgestanst met nestabilities, en op een kerstbal gekleefd met daarop ook nog een vrolijke bloem. Hopelijk valt dit in de smaak bij een vriendin van mij die gek is op deze diertjes.

This time I played again with the little cute animals, on Kraft paper and with my Faber Castell pencils. I also used some nestabilities and put it all on a Christmas ball where I added a big flower too. I hope my friend who loves these animals, loves the card.

Kerstboomkaart - Christmas tree card

Deze keer een heel bijzondere kaart, tenminste wat vorm betreft. Dit zag ik bij Elke Verschooten en heb dit nu uitgewerkt met twee zijden met elanden, een pons die ik vorig jaar bij haar kocht. En het koetje is ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden. Dit is weer eens een inzending als DT lid Creapaleis.

 

This time a special form card, form  of a Christmas tree, I saw it in the shop of Elke Verschooten where I bought the punch with the moose last year. And the card is again one as DT member for Creapaleis with the nice stamp of a little cow which I coloured with my Faber Castell pencils.

Less is More - fur and feathers

Deze week is de Challenge bij Less is More slechts 1 laag en gebruik van vel of veren. Een mooie gelegenheid om de stempels die ik via een vriendin in Canada kocht eens te gebruiken. Ik kleurde de stempel in met mijn Faber Castell potloden.



This week the challenge by Less is More is one layer and fur and feathers. So I thought it would be a good opportunity to use some stamps I bought through my friend in Canada. I coloured them with my Faber Castell pencils.

Boekenleggers - Bookmarks

Deze keer een paar boekenleggers gemaakt met tulpenstempels. Bovenste ingekleurd met faber castell potloden, onderste met stempelstiften.



This time I made a few bookmarks. The upper one I coloured with Faber Castell, just with ink.

Wandelen - Walking

Wandelen in de vrije natuur, niks is mooier dan dat, gewoon genieten van de rust, de omgeving.
Dit stempeltje van Marianne Design beantwoordt daar echt aan. Het doet mij denken aan onze wandeltochten in de bergen. Ik heb natuurlijk weer mijn Faber Castell potloden gebruikt op Kraft cardstock en voor de rest gewoon wat nestabilities, een eenvoudig langwerpig kaartje voor een wandelaar in spé.

Walking, enjoying the fresh air, the rest and nature. This stamp from Marianne Design reminds me of our walks in the mountains. I used my Faber Castell pencils again on Kraft cardstock, some nestabilities and build up a long card with it. Curious what you think.

Vuurtoren - Lighthouse

Een kaart voor een man die van boten houdt. Een wat drukkere stempel met heel veel details en dus niet eenvoudig om in te kleuren. Ik koos voor stempelen met sepia versafine vanwege alle details. Vervolgens mijn Faber Castell potloden genomen en aan de hand van het voorbeeld gaan inkleuren. Veel meer dan het afdrukje dan matten op een geel papiertje en dat op een donker blauwe kaart. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden.

A card for a man who loves boats. I chose a very crowded stamp, it has a lot of details so stamping with versafine sepia is a good idea then I thought. I then took my Faber Castell pencils to colour it but with the original stamp next to me. When I finished it I just took some yellow and dark blue paper to finish the card. Hope he likes it and you too.

LIM: one layer - three stamps

Deze keer is de challenge van Less is more er eentje van 1 laag en het gebruik van exact drie stempels. Even dubben, wikken en wegen en toen beslist mijn nieuwste set uit te proberen en in te kleuren met faber castell. Daar ik toch altijd wel een speciale kaart wil, heb ik gekozen om het voorstukje korter te maken zodat als hij zelfs plat ligt je alle stempels ziet.

This week the challenge of less is more is one of making a card with one layer, and using exactly three stamps. I had to see between all my stamps what is possible and chose my newest set which I coloured with faber castell pencils. As I always want to make a special card, I made the front a bit shorter as the back so even when the card is totally flat in the envelop you can still see all the stamps.

Een prachtig stempel set voor condoleance kaarten. Deze heb ik ingekleurd met faber castell potloden.

In de wolken - in the clouds

Dit lief magnoliatje dat in de wolken is, heb ik een tijdje terug ingekleurd met faber castell potloden. Dit is op glad papier, niet echt mijn favoriet voor de potloden. Een mooi geborduurd randje en een nestability en opnieuw kan ik jullie een kaartje presenteren. Hopelijk is de ontvanger ook in de wolken.

This nice and cute Magnolia is really in the clouds and dreaming. I coloured it a while back with the faber castell pencils. This time on smooth paper, not really my favorite with these kind of pencils. A stitched border and a nestability are used for making this card which will hopefully please the receiver.

Lente - Spring

Deze keer weer een kaartje voor het Creapaleis. Stempel Crocus van Don&Daisy. Wou jullie even in voorjaarsstemming brengen ondanks het gure weer met hagel, mist en onweersbuien. De kaart is opnieuw uitgewerkt met de faber castell potloden, een leuk gekleurd lintje, en een creatable van Marianne Design en een paar kleine plaksteentjes

Although the weather is terrible with rain, hale, fog and thunder, I made this card for Creapaleis with the stamp crocus of Don and Daisy. And I used again my faber castell pencils, a ribbon, some creatables of Marianne Design and a few little stones.

Tulpen - Tulips

Deze keer terug aan de slag gegaan met mijn Faber castell potloden. Ik koos voor Magnolia met de tulpen, voor de rest eenvoudig gehouden enkel een paar kleine plaksterretjes toegevoegd.

This time I played again with my Faber castell pencils. I chose for Magnolia with tulips and kept it simple for the rest, only used a few little red stars.

Eenhoorn grijs - unicorn grey

Deze keer heb ik de eenhoorn in grijstinten uitgewerkt met de Faber Castell potloden. Voor de rest eenvoudig gehouden met cardstock in diverse kleuren.

De binnenzijde heb ik ook van een leuke tekst van Marianne Design papier voorzien.

This time I used the grey shades of the Faber Castell pencils. I played with cardstock for the background and inside also nice paper of Marianne Design.

Bomen - Trees

Dit bomenlandschapje (stempeltje gekocht bij Elke Verschooten) ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden. Ik vind het heel leuk om hiermee te werken, wel nog even wennen. Voor de rest eenvoudig gehouden met groen en donkerbruin cardstock. De tekst even met PSP erop gezet, zo kan ik later er altijd nog een gepaste tekst bij doen.

This stamp with trees I bought in Antwerpen at Elke Verschooten, where I mostly find very nice stamps. I coloured them with Faber Castell pencils. Still trying to work in a good way with them. I used green and brown cardstock and the sentiment is done by PSP so I can change it later if I want.

Valentijn - Valentine

Valentijn - dag van de liefde. Ik hou van mijn muisje, dus kleurde ik deze leuke kleine muis met Faber Castell potloden en plaatste hem op leuk cardstock en een geborduurd patroontje van de goedkope boekenzaak. Benieuwd of ik mijn lieve man hier ook mee kan bekoren.

Valentine - day of love. I love my mouse, and so I coloured this cute little mouse with Faber Castell pencils and put it on nice cardstock and a pattern I stitched. I am curious if my dear husband likes it too.
